Put technology to work for YOU!
The comfort and convenience of online therapy can’t be matched.
We can meet… anywhere!
As long as you’re in Florida or New York, we can work together. Now, you don’t have to worry about finding a local therapist who meets your needs. I’m right here!
Scheduling is more flexible.
We can schedule a session during your lunch break, when you are away at college, or homebound due to illness.
And with set-it-and-forget-it appointments right on your calendar, it’s SO convenient.
Meeting online is less stressful!
Gone are the days of battling traffic on your way to an office, worrying that you’ll be late.
If you have kids, you won’t have to arrange for a babysitter.
And you don’t have to deal with the anxiety of a waiting room, strangers, and distractions!
And it’s more comfortable.
You meet me where you are most comfortable: your home, office, car… it’s up to you.
And you can dress as comfy as you want with the amenities of home right there with you.
Wondering if it’s as good as in-person therapy?
Great question! I have been using virtual therapy for a long time.
It is a proven, evidence-based form of psychotherapy. As a therapist, I believe your environment is crucial to your success. Unlike in-person sessions, virtual therapy allows me to meet you where you live, work, and relax. It can give us a look into the unseen influences on your life and enrich our work together.
Virtual therapy is flexible for both of us. It allows me to work with a broader range of techniques, such as sharing screens with in-time illustrations you can download and inviting family members into session at a moment’s notice. The interactive nature of virtual therapy brings results.
Michael’s* wife was diagnosed with a progressive illness, and their world felt upside down. We were able to invite her to join our virtual session just after she was diagnosed. We processed uncertainty and developed a solid plan and resources to help her build support. Today, she is in a movement disorder program with physical and emotional support. We could eliminate many what-ifs by taking action right away in the comfort of their home.
I worked with Alison* in person during high school to help her get into the college of her dreams. Freshman year brought anxiety, depression, and stress. We were able to work remotely while she was in her dorm, and we could validate the tumultuous environment in her suite. We were able to include her parents from their home in sessions. Alison was able to move dorms, stay in school, and maintain her dream.
How does it work?
